Widzew Łódź proudly announces that seven players from the Widzew Academy have been called up to the Łódzkie Football Association squad for the 2014 age group. On June 14-15, 2026, representatives from the Łódź Voivodeship will face their peers from the Lower Silesian ZPN, Greater Poland ZPN, and Silesian ZPN. Coaches Dawid Psyta and Jan Nizioł selected 18 players for the tournament, including seven from Widzew. The players are: Karol Antosiak, Kordian Ciesielski, Marcel Kalusiński, Patryk Kowalczyk, Dawid Mauler, Jan Olejarz, and Franciszek Płóciennik. This is a significant achievement for the young players, who will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on a regional stage. We congratulate them on their call-ups and wish them good luck on the field! Widzew Łódź always supports its young athletes, and their successes are a source of pride for the entire club.
