Widzew Łódź is a place where you never really leave. For me, it has always been and will be Widzew. It was from here that I first set out into the big world. And it was here that I returned after years, when the club needed people willing to give it their experience, character, and heart. I wanted to help Widzew return to where it belongs. Today, I can say with pride that we have taken this path together. Pawłowski, who returned to the club from Łódź in the winter of 2022, was a very important figure in Widzew in recent seasons. When he returned to the club, the team was playing in the 1st league. He won the promotion to Ekstraklasa with the team and then had a significant contribution to keeping the team at the top level of competition. He held the captain's position, but in recent times, he appeared on the field less and less. In the last season, he played in 19 league matches, of which only five were in the starting lineup. In total, he played 116 official matches for the Łódź team and scored 31 goals. Widzew announced that the player would be honored. "On behalf of the entire club, its authorities and employees, we thank Bartek for the chapter he wrote in the history of Widzew Łódź" — emphasizes in a mid-week statement. The Widzew team starts its preparations for the new season on Monday. In addition to Pawłowski, the club parted ways with Slovak Samuel Kozlovsky, who moved to Slovan Bratislava, and Kosovar representative Dion Gallapeni, who was bought out by Wisła Płock after a half-year loan.
