Widzew Łódź has been trying to sign Afimico Pululu for some time, but the negotiations did not yield the expected results. Tomasz Kupisz revealed that the Łódź club offered the 27-year-old striker 500,000 euros for his signature and a monthly salary of 50,000-60,000 euros. These amounts were insufficient to convince Pululu to move to Widzew. In the meantime, RTS focused on acquiring a new striker, as Andi Zeqiri did not meet expectations and was put on the transfer list. Widzew Łódź plans to sign Karol Świderski, with whom everything has practically been agreed. If Świderski's transfer goes through, the chances of acquiring Pululu will significantly decrease. Widzew Łódź was ready to offer Pululu even higher wages, suggesting that the club has ambitious plans for the upcoming transfer window. Karol Świderski is set to receive a salary of around one million euros and will sign a three-year contract, making him a key player in Widzew's future plans.
