Widzew Łódź starts reorganization of its sports department. As of June 24, 2026, the cooperation with Dariusz Adamczuk, performing the function of proxy of the management board for sports, Piotr Burlikowski - director of sports department and Sławomir Rafałowicz, coordinator of recruitment, has ended.

New era for Widzew

The changes are part of a broader process of rebuilding the sports department, which is to prepare the club for a new stage of development. The authorities announce further personnel and organizational decisions. The owner and president of the club, Robert Dobrzycki, also spoke. – I thank Dariusz, Piotr and Sławomir for their daily commitment and work for Widzew. We are currently finishing the construction of a new sports department structure. Soon we will present the people who will be responsible for its further development and implementation of our sports goals – said the owner of Widzew

New people in the club

Shortly after the information about the departures, the Łódź team also announced news about the new sports department in the club. „Widzew Łódź strengthens its structures: from August 10, Łukasz Masłowski will be the director of the sports department. The club has also been joined by experienced managers: Artur Płatek will become the new sports director, and Piotr Kosiorowski will take the position of scouting and recruitment director” – it was stated in the message published on the club's official website.
