Widzew Łódź will not make any major changes to their squad this summer, according to the club's owner Robert Dobrzycki. However, some positions still need to be strengthened, including the number nine spot, which is a new striker. Karol Świderski has been linked with the club for several months, and the first approach was made in January, but the deal was not finalized. This time, the talks are more advanced, but the financial issues are still a problem, as Świderski has high demands for his salary and a contract until 2028. The Greek club Panathinaikos is also negotiating with Widzew, and according to Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl, the representatives are willing to make big concessions. It's worth noting that the two clubs came to an agreement on the transfer of Bartłomiej Drągowski a few months ago, which cost 300,000 euros. Świderski played 46 games last season, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists.
