Widzew Łódź is preparing to part ways with one of its goalkeepers in the summer transfer window. Although Veljko Ilić was previously the favorite to leave, the situation has changed significantly. A league rival has entered the competition for the second reserve goalkeeper. In the spring, Bartłomiej Drągowski became the undisputed number one in the Łódź team, automatically pushing Maciej Kikolski and Veljko Ilić to the reserve bench. Both players want to play regularly, so a change of clubs for one of them is already certain. Until now, the media have linked Ilić with HNK Rijeka from Croatia. However, the Serb may ultimately stay in Łódź, as there is a serious interest in Kikolski. According to Tomasz Włodarczyk from the Meczyki.pl portal, the 22-year-old Pole is strongly interested in Motor Lublin. The club from Lublin is urgently looking for a new goalkeeper after Ivan Brkić moved to Legia Warsaw. Acquiring the young representative of Poland could solve Motor's problems, but Widzew is unlikely to give up the player for free. Kikolski's contract is valid until June 2029. Source: Meczyki.pl
